We started BlazeXpress because Western Mass deserved better.

BlazeXpress is a Black-owned, LGBT+ Certified Marijuana Delivery Operator (MDO) based in Holyoke, MA. We’re a state-certified Social Equity business and certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), licensed by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission as MD1284. We’re not a chain — we’re a small team that believes our neighbors deserve the same lab-tested, fairly-priced products that customers get anywhere in the state.

Meet Kelvin & Duane.

BlazeXpress was co-founded by two operators with deep roots in entertainment, entrepreneurship, and community. They built a delivery operation rooted in compliance, hospitality, and Western Mass.

Kelvin Sylvester

Kelvin Sylvester is the Co-Founder of BlazeXpress, a licensed cannabis home delivery service operating in Massachusetts. Transitioning his sharp operational instincts and passion for community-centric business into the legal cannabis industry, Kelvin has been instrumental in shaping the brand's mission to provide reliable, secure, and top-tier delivery experiences across the state.

Beyond his leadership in the cannabis sector, Kelvin is an accomplished underground dance music producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. Since launching his professional music career in 2015, he has earned international recognition for his soulful production and arrangements. He is also the co-CEO of Brukel Music, a record label he co-founded in 2020.

Whether orchestrating complex logistics for a growing delivery network or crafting intricate musical compositions, Kelvin brings a unique blend of creative vision, operational precision, and entrepreneurial drive to everything he builds.

Duane Harden

Duane Harden is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BlazeXpress, a premier licensed cannabis home delivery service in Massachusetts. An astute entrepreneur and active investor, Duane brings extensive expertise in asset management, strategic scaling, and operational finance to the company, ensuring a secure, regulatory-compliant, and data-driven approach to local market growth.

Parallel to his business ventures, Duane is a globally recognized, Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer, and independent musical artist. With a prolific catalog spanning contemporary R&B, pop, and electronic music, he has spent decades shaping hits and driving creative innovation. He is also the founder of the independent record label Soltrenz DJ and the community-focused non-profit New Life Family Homes Corp.

Blending decades of creative vision with disciplined corporate leadership, Duane continuously leverages technology, strategic marketing, and financial foresight to build impactful, forward-thinking brands across both the entertainment and regulated business sectors.

The story.

BlazeXpress launched in 2021 after Massachusetts opened adult-use cannabis delivery to licensed operators. We saw that every dispensary worth visiting was 60+ minutes east, and the local options for Western MA were either limited storefronts or the legacy market. We’re here to fix that — with delivery that’s actually fast, products that are actually tested, and prices that make sense.

What we do differently.

Lab-tested everything. Every product on our menu has a current Certificate of Analysis — not just for potency but for pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, and residual solvents. If it didn’t pass, we don’t carry it.
Free delivery, no fine print. $50 minimum in Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee; $75 in most outer cities; $95 in the farthest-drive towns (Hampden, Southwick). Above your city’s minimum: no delivery fee, no service charges, no tipping pressure on the cart screen.
Local drivers. Our delivery team lives in Western MA. They know the side streets, the construction detours, and the difference between Forest Park and East Forest Park.
Curated, not maximized. We carry brands we’d buy ourselves. Limited menu, deeper relationships with the cultivators.

Compliance & licensing.

Holyoke Smokes Corp operates under Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission license MD1284 as a Marijuana Delivery Operator (MDO). Under MA regulation 830 CMR 64N.1.1, a Marijuana Delivery Operator is officially classified as a Marijuana Retailer. Our licensed delivery vehicles, driver training, packaging, and product handling all meet or exceed state requirements under 935 CMR 500. All sales are restricted to adults 21+ with valid government-issued photo ID, and Massachusetts daily purchase limits (2 oz flower equivalent as of April 2026) apply to every order.
